The Macedonian Arts, through its turbulent history has captured
moments of the human existence, life, pain, suffering and aesthetics of
the region. Macedonian Culture is a mosaic of aesthetics, and its illuminous
fluorescence is apparent through its arts, frescoes, icons, mosaics, sculpture,
architecture, music, folklore, folk arts, literature, text, renaissance
and many others. These predominantly have depicted the real Macedonian
psyche and character, preserved individuality and maintained in the national
consciousness.
